Start time 7.30am (Qld). 

Please note entire route is on road and vehicular traffic can be expected.

As it’s on road, the pace of this ride tends to be between 18-22km/hour.

Pleasant cycle route past cane fields and green pastures with mountain views in the distance. There is one short easy/moderate incline involved which we negotiate both ways.

Coffee and food at the turn around point is superb! 

This is a social ride.

Great group - good to see Joy has returned from her African adventures .. had trouble breaking up the robust chats at the morning tea stop to do the return leg. For once the headwinds on the outward journey did not turn around and we had a tailwind for 2/3 of the return journey. Our leader Valerie set a cracking pace up front and we did the trip in 43 minutes. Valerie was ecstatic when told she had averaged 22kph.. most likely a PB!
