location_on Palm Beach Currumbin Sports Club

Meet at Palm Beach Currumbin Sports Club for 7:30 Queensland time departure.

This shall be leisurely ride with NO hills as we will cycle predominantly on the new cycleway which is now open adjacent to the motorway between Palm Beach and Reedy Creek.

Total distance is estimated to be roughly 30 kilometers .. all on bitumen or concrete.

Ultimate destination is the Home Plate Cafe (Varsity Lakes) for coffee before returning most probably via the same or very similar route.

I shall interrupt my beauty sleep and make a decision on conducting the ride and put notice on here by 6.00am.. My instincts say we shall be cycling under scattered clouds!!!

Leisurely, enjoyable ride for sure🥰. Trees down in wetlands area but luckily not on paths.

Thanks Everyone... Good to see Russ again and get him sorted out on the G2Ger app. And yes apart from a 90 second light shower we had a dry run and a very 👍 ce tailwind on the journey home. We were back before the Club opened at 10:00am.
