CYCLE RIDES - Subject to Amendment Depart Caravan Park at 9am daily (after school traffic). Suggest we split into two or three groups. Possible routes - but feel free to suggest others or do you own thing! 1. To South Ballina - cross river on ferry and out to headland and return. 2. To Lennox Head (possible to extend if you wish) and return - mainly on bike paths and quiet roads. 3. To Wardell via South Ballina Ferry and returning same route. 4. To Tintinbar - subject to route inspection.

Ballina Battle Blocks - Playing Rules Location; Near site 92 and Volley Ball Court Time: 4pm Sun to Wed Bring a CHAIR nibbles and fluids!!! And perhaps some midge spray... The pins are initially placed in a tight group in an upright position 3–4 metres away from the throwing place. The pins are placed in any number order in 4 rows as follows Front Row 2 pins Second Row 3 pins Third Row 4 pins Fourth Row 2 pins The throwing order is determined by a toss or mutual agreement. First player throws the battle pin to the pins group and tries to knock over blocks. Knocking over one block scores the number of points marked on the block. Knocking over 2 or more blocks scores the THE TOTAL POINTS MARKED ON the blocks knocked over. A block does not count if it is leaning on the battle pin or another block/s (it must be parallel to the ground to count). After each throw the blocks are stood up again in the exact location where they landed. The first player to reach exactly 30* points wins the game. Games not completed within 20 minutes shall be declared a draw. Scoring more than 30 points will be penalised by setting the player's score back to their score before the throw. * the number of points may be amended for the final series. Competition Format 20 players split into 4 groups of 5 players. Each player in a group plays each other once plus one game against a nominated player from another group. The winner of each group game shall be awarded 3 points. Each participant in a drawn game shall receive 1 point The 2 players with most points in each group after 5 games shall progress to the sudden death finals series to be held on Wednesday afternoon.
